All protocols observed.

About 16years ago the forewalls of the UNIV Cape Coast launched us into the greater classroom, the world.

Lessons learnt within this short period are enormous and instructive. I tabulate a few under the rubrics THE TIMES.

The times are for those who know their history and allow their past to illuminate their path to success and a future blissful life.

The times are not for the timid or the timorous souls.

The times are for the bold and courageous.

The times are for they that are creative with knowledge

And not for they that form Unemployed Graduate Association

The times are for they that are efficient and diligent.

The times are for they that see problems as challenges and confront them.

The times are for they that take risks as failure to so do itself is a risk.

The times are for they that are like a grain of wheat which unless drops to the ground remains a single grain.

The times require sacrifices for the collective good of all.

The times are for they that see truth and honesty as a brand and vigorously pursue their endeavours guided by these brands.

As Shakespeare said

Crossing many Rivers

I have reached a stage in life

Moving forward is perilou

Flinching back is cowardice.

Remaining still is suicidal

But we must persevere.

Life is war which must be fought in many battles

Our arms and ammunition are our BRAINS

It is true that some are born with golden spoons in their mouth

But the will to fight is greater than.

Those who make history are those who know how to go with tide of time.

We are on a hunting expedition where we all hope to go home with elephants. But he who aims at animal must hold his breath.

Lest he misses his aims.
