Ho, Ghana — March 28, 2026
At its 17th Congregation, the Evangelical Presbyterian University College (EPUC) graduated 250 students in a ceremony that blended celebration with a strong call to purpose, signaling a new wave of talent ready to shape Ghana’s future.
Held at the E. P. Church, Ghana, Dela Cathedral, the event brought together academic leaders, policymakers, clergy, and families for a vibrant showcase of achievement and ambition. The graduating class comprised 200 bachelor’s degree holders, 24 master’s graduates, 11 diploma recipients, and 15 certificate awardees.
But beyond the numbers, the message was unmistakable: this generation is expected to lead with integrity in an increasingly complex world.
Governing Council Chairman Dr. George Mawusi Afeti challenged graduates to reject intolerance and rise above division, urging them to pursue excellence in every sphere of life. Echoing that sentiment, EPUC President, Prof. Kenneth Kodzo Nyalemegbe praised the class for their resilience and discipline and reminded them that their real test begins beyond the classroom.
Representatives from the University of Cape Coast and the University of Education, Winneba reinforced the call for impact, urging graduates to turn knowledge into solutions in a fast-changing global environment.
The spotlight, however, fell on excellence. Stella Adotevi emerged as the top undergraduate student, sweeping multiple top awards. In a poised address, she reminded her peers that education is not merely a certificate but a tool for transformation. At the postgraduate level, Elikplim Adorkor-Attipoe earned top honours, reflecting on a journey that demanded adaptability and courage in the face of uncertainty.
Delivering the keynote on behalf of Ho Central’s Member of Parliament, Prof. Mohammed Augustine Takase urged graduates to embrace innovation, lead with purpose, and uphold ethical values as they enter the world.
As applause echoed through the cathedral, one thing became clear: EPUC is not just graduating students; it is shaping leaders ready to confront real-world challenges head-on.
