Mike-Morrison Kekeli Badagbor, a level 200 Governance Student of the Evangelical Presbyterian University College (EPUC)- Ho, has donated six (6) pieces of streetlights to the Management of the Institution on Saturday, 18th September, 2021, to help brighten its Ho-Kpodzi campus.

EPUC President, Professor Edem Kwasi Bakah and the Dean of Students’ Affairs, Dr Daniel Delali Kornu received the lights and its installation components on behalf of Management.

According to Mr. Badagbor, he was acting on a call for support by Management.

“I realized that, many at times when we come to the campus, we see other people come around who are not students. We also realised that the place is not very lit at night, although there are some lights around, it is not enough, and so I discussed with friends and realised I can provide five (5) streetlights initially, but I have added one more. That came after I saw the communique, that Management needs support.

Management, via a letter dated 22nd July, 2021, called on Staff and Students to support the Institution with equipment to enhance teaching and learning after administrative needs, after many donations from external stakeholders.

Professor Bakah in appreciating the effort of Mike-Morrison, encouraged other students, staff and organisations to come on board and change the face of the University College.

“This is a commendable gesture and I want to assure you and your team that this will be put to good use”, he added.

The lights and installation components, amounting to GH₵2,900.00, will later be installed at the University’s Ho-Kpodzi campus in Ho.

Mr. Badagbor was accompanied by other students from Governance Studies, HRM, Marketing and B.Ed departments as well as the outgoing SRC President, Mr. Raynolds Agbenyenu.
