External auditors from PKF Ghana appointed by the Governing Council of the Evangelical Presbyterian University College to audit the Accounts of the University College paid a courtesy call on the Management of EPUC on Wednesday, 21st July, 2021.
Welcoming the team in his office , the President, Prof. Edem Kwasi Bakah expressed his excitement at the acceptance of the team to undertake the exercise. He, therefore, assured the auditors of the support and co-operation of Management. He also encouraged them to do their work without fear or favour. According to him, if the audit report reflects the true state of affairs in the University College, it will help Management to appreciate its shortfalls and devise the appropriate strategies to correct them.
In their response, the leader of the team, Mr. Kwabena Appeagyei-Sarpong, thanked Management for the warm reception and pledged their commitment and willingness to perform their task diligently in line with ethical and professional standards.
Members of Management present were the President, Prof. Edem Kwasi Bakah, the Ag. Registrar, Mr. Obed W. K. Adom, the Ag. Finance Officer, Mr. Frank Edem Akudeka and the Assistant Registrar In charge of Academic Affairs, Ms. Bridgitte Nuhoho. Members of the audit team at the meeting were Mr. Kwabena Appeagyei-Sarpong and Ms. Christa Amoah.
The four-week exercise started on Wednesday, 21st July, 2021 and is expected to end on 18th August, 2021.
